Research interest:

Wanlu got her Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Zhejiang University in 2013. As a PhD candidate at UCLA Molecular Biology Institute, she is currently conducting her PhD thesis with Dr. Steven E. Jacobsen. Her research mainly focus on understanding the epigenetics mechanism in Arabidopsis and embryonic stem cells with next generation sequencing techniques. In parallel to her PhD study, she is also interested in statistics especially in applying cutting statistical methods to better understand biological question. After finishing relevant statistical courses in UCLA, she is currently conducting her statistic master thesis with Dr. Jessica Li.

Currently Tenure-track Assistant Professor at Zhejiang University, ZJU-UoE Institute, China.
