Ruochen got his Degree of Bachelor of Science with a major in Applied Mathematics and Minor in Statistics from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). As a PhD student in Department of Statistics of UCLA, he is currently conducting research with Prof. Jingyi Jessica Li. His is currently working on the imputation of excess zeros in microbiome data, more specifically, the OTU count data generated by 16S rRNA sequencing technique.
