Mannix is a PhD student in the Molecular Biology Interdepartmental Program at UCLA where he is co-mentored by Jessica Li and Steve Jacobsen. Before joining UCLA, he received his B.A. in Biology at Boston University and worked as a researcher at Harvard Medical School and the Salk Institute. His interests include developing computational methods to address unanswered biological questions and improving statistical rigor and reproducibility in the field of biology.
